Priscilla Criscitelli, LMSW
Priscilla Criscitelli is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who has been working in the mental health field since 2017. She earned her Bachelors in Social Work from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2019, and went on to earn her Master of Social Work from the University of Connecticut in 2020.
Priscilla has extensive experience working in psychiatric residential and inpatient settings, as well as working with teens and adults of all ages through outpatient therapy, intensive outpatient groups, and virtual therapy. She has also frequently worked with members of the LGBTQIA+ community and the neurodivergent population. Priscilla is passionate about creating a safe and supportive environment for clients of diverse backgrounds who may be living with anxiety, depression, ADHD and Autism, complex trauma, struggles maintaining healthy relationships, adjusting to life changes, and other general mental health concerns.
Priscilla has a strong background in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She utilizes a collaborative approach, and likes to engage with her clients in a friendly and relatable way that helps them to feel safe while exploring their mental health concerns, and utilizing their personal strengths to overcome obstacles.
When Priscilla is not working, she enjoys spending time with her friends, finding new restaurants to try, playing videogames and tabletop games, and curling up on the couch with her lap cat and a good fantasy or mystery book.
