Kristen Maguire, LMSW

Kristen Maguire is a Licensed Master Social Worker with a dual active licensure in both Connecticut and Arizona. Kristen is a California native and graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Family and Human Development in 2016 from Arizona State University. She went on to get her Master of Social Work at Arizona State University and graduated in 2018.

With a strong background in cognitive-behavioral therapy, she has also been trained in mindfulness and acceptance-based, trauma-focused, and play therapy techniques. Flexibility in her approach enables Kristen to tailor the intervention to the unique needs of the client, thus resulting in more effective treatment.

Kristen specializes in behavioral health across the lifespan. Working with clients experiencing but not limited to the following: Anxiety, depression, health anxiety, grief, bereavement, caregiving, trauma, mentoring, school issues, and general mental health issues. Her passion is to assist the individual or family in developing coping strategies that will empower them to deal effectively with the stressful events they may encounter in life.

When Kristen is not working, you can find her with her family taking care of their small farm, where they raise, goats, chickens, and potbellied pigs. She enjoys horseback riding, team sorting, gardening, cooking, and spending time outdoors.
